This international prize has been awarded to Jess Design in the category ‘Excellent Product Design’, with the Earl with armsupport. The German Design Award, launched in 2012, is considered as one of the most respected design competitions in the world, with participants from all over the world.
The City of Jess Design
From the 8th of September until the 12th of September, Jess Design could be found at Maison & Objet in Paris. One of the biggest fairs of Europe, where ‘design’ in its broadest sense is the theme. At this fair we presented our newest models towards the rest of the world. Think for example of the Earl 3-seater couch, Jimmy bar table and the My Home couch. Above all, Jess Design has added a new type of leather to the collection: Aurula. This is a strong, flexible and authentic leather from the buffalo, where fine oils have been added. It is also available in different colours. And to be honest, we’re proud of that!
Design District 2017
From Wednesday the 7th of June until Friday the 9th of June, Jess Design was present at Design District. This fair is one of the most important fairs in terms of interior design in the Netherlands. The vt wonen&design fair in Amsterdam is for example aimed at privates, but Design District focusses on another part of the market. Therefore, architects, interior designers and project dealers come and visit Design District. In terms of projects, you can think about restaurant, but also the interior design of a library or office. The fair therefore has a broad focus!
The Earl 3-seater, the newest item in the collection of Jess Design!
Recently, Jess Design has presented the newest item from our collection towards the rest of the world: The Earl 3-seater. Formerly, we already had the Earl 1-seater and Earl 2-seater in our collection, and this newest product in the Earl family is a great new addition.
